I’m a SharePoint Software Architect currently working for Slalom Consulting. I have been building solutions on the SharePoint platform for the last five years. My biggest client at the moment is eBay where I am their Chief SharePoint Architect.

Recently I was recognized by Microsoft for my community work with a Community Contributor award. Next step, MVP! 😉

I download your extendedtreeview on codeplex (http://sp2010ext.codeplex.com/). Where can I find a documentation or tutorials to use this dll. I’m a begineer and I don’t know how to start.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

I heard you might be attending the SharePoint Conference 2011 in Anaheim, and I was wondering if you could give me your name/email so that one of my colleagues could contact you during the event.

I look forward in hearing back from you soon.

    Thanks,

    Alissa

I am integrating your SharePointUpload project into an internal application. The app won’t compile because in the DataSourceTranslation.cs file it is trying to reference SPService which it cannot find. How do I fix? Looking forward to a successful demo. Thanks.

The DST.cs file isn’t used. It was for the 2007 version of the sharepoint upload project which talked to a custom web service. By default the latest version of the solution from codeplex v.965 does not try compiling this class. You can in your tweaked copy of the solution just remove it from the project without issue. Just to be sure I just regrabbed from codeplex and tried compiling both with and without the translation class and it worked fine.

    Hi Maarten,

I’m assessing opportunities for Sharepoint on Mobile that could be very interesting for you. Our office is in the same building as Slalon’s in SF. I was wondering if I could contact you offline to provide more information about what we are working on. Thanks

    JC
